In the past month we’ve played 27 shows in Oklahoma , Texas , New Mexico , Colorado , Utah , Louisiana , Mississippi , and Georgia . Right now we’re in Alabama . It’s interesting how when you pass the state line from Mississippi to Alabama it looks like the median income doubles or triples. The delta and hill country. Copperheads and cottonmouths. The Deep South . We stayed in a town called Water Valley just down the road from a town called Hot Coffee, Mississippi . I bet there’s no Starbucks there.
We’ve got some work to do finishing the DVD for a fall release and we’ve got one more day of mixing on the new studio album. We’ve got a few new songs to learn as a band to add to the setlist too. It’ll be good to be home next week. Hope to see you soon.
